Meraki Skate Co

This Skateboarding Company was created from scratch. I was given the task of choosing one word from any language besides English and then use that word to create a branded skateboard company.

The word Meraki is from the greek language and it means to do something with soul, creativity, or love. I found this to be quite beautiful and wanted to create an entire project dedicated to reminding myself and others to do all things with soul, creativity, and love.

Meraki Skate Co has a very illustrative heavy style. The skateboard's design is meant to reflect the look of a relief print.

This project was done in Adobe Illustrator and Procreate. Many aspects of this piece were completed with pen and paper and were then scanned in and manipulated in Illustrator.
